I thought about starting a blog to document my journey with my little ones. But it didn\u2019t materialize because of life and other priorities. Fast forward to this day, I finally took a leap of faith and my ideas evolved into more than just sharing about motherhood. Being a mom, a parent and a wife is sweet but it also has its fair share of challenges. I constantly find myself being pulled apart into so many directions. So when I have a free time, with the help (and the curse) of my trusty phone, it\u2019s easy to slip into browsing social media and let myself get lost in it, \u201cto de-stress\u201d. Until I read a book about finding your authentic self and a line struck me, which says \u201cwe end up knowing more about other people, than we learn about ourselves.\u201d Isn\u2019t it truth? So I did a social media detox and did some deeper inner work. I\u2019m not to saying that we should avoid social media, I still use it, I just felt I needed to shush some of the clamor outside to be able to work on the inside more efficiently.<br \/>\nWhere did I begin? Was it the regular visit to the library after my son\u2019s piano class, was it craving some alone art time, was it the journaling, or was it just my 40s? Ouch! My knees and sprouting grey hair don\u2019t lie. Whatever it was, it felt good to my soul. I am still on this quest too. You are the main character and hero of your own journey. I just want to share what fuels me and I hope it will ignite a spark in you.<\/p>\n<p>My prayer for you is that even as life pulls you apart in so many directions, you could still spend a few minutes of quiet moments to breathe, put your feet on the ground, feel your life, thank your body, be grateful for life and do something that is truly rewarding for your soul. I believe that those small moments of joy are not only good for your body and spirit, they give you the strength to give back to the world and bless others.
